Wolf in sheep’s clothing.
There are a lot of people sitting in church circles who are not following Christ. I'm saying that with love, but I'm also saying it plainly. This is your wake-up call: to discernment, to spiritual warfare, and to obedience in the last days.
Satan's greatest trick
The enemy's best move is convincing you he isn't real. If you don't believe there's a fight, you won't put on armor, you won't test what you hear, and you won't notice what's creeping into your life and your church. Jesus faced the devil head-on in the wilderness in Matthew 4, and He answered every temptation with the Word. We're called to do the same.
How false prophets operate
False prophets don't announce themselves. They look and sound like the real thing. That's why discernment isn't optional. We have to measure everything against Scripture, not against how a message makes us feel or how impressive the person delivering it is.

The Jezebel spirit in the church
In Revelation 2, Jesus confronts a church for tolerating Jezebel, a woman who led His servants astray. We also see her story play out in 1 and 2 Kings. The warning is that this spirit seduces. It doesn't always arrive loud and obvious. It works quietly, pulling people away from obedience and from the voice of God, and it can operate right inside a church that looks healthy from the outside. Ask the Lord to open your eyes.
No fear. God put you here for now.
None of this is meant to scare you. It's meant to wake you up.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.2 Timothy 1:7
You were put here for this time, on purpose. It's not an accident. So ask Him: "Lord, why have You put me here for now? What am I supposed to be doing?" We walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), and that means trusting Him even when we can't see the whole picture.

If it did, that's it. Get busy. Stop waiting for a better moment, because this is the moment. Take your assignment seriously and choose obedience.

Lord Jesus, open my eyes to deception. Give me discernment. Show me my assignment. I choose obedience. In Jesus' name, amen.
